with Skill Development Cell, S.B. Deorah College. Total 87 students enrolled for the course
and the total duration for the course was 30 hours.
In this comprehensive course, students learned everything they need to know to
become proficient in using the various applications within the Microsoft Office Suite, HTML
and Google Apps. Whether the student is proficient or inept in computer skills, this course
will definitely enhance his or her computer skills, and will provide them with the knowledge

| 47 | Workshop on Photo and Video | A three day workshop on Photo and Video Editing using Canva software was organized from 21st May to 24th May 2024 at the college computer lab by the Skill Development cell along with the Computer Science Department for the benefit of the students. Almost 35-40 students took part from 2nd and 4th semester of all the three streams. A group of highly appreciated faculties conducted the workshop and made the students aware of the benefits of the workshop and made them learn new things about photo and video editing using Canva. They were also given information on how they can take up this as a earning source and can start it with limited source. The students were given certificate at the completion of the workshop which would help them to get themselves engaged in similar jobs in future. | 50 | Training on Soft skill | The Skill Development Cell along with the Computer Science Department of the college
organised a workshop on Soft Skill as How to present effectively for a Job Interview on 21st
May 2024. A group of 35 students from 2nd and 4th semester of all the three streams
participated and were highly benefited with the workshop. A group of faculties from computer
science department took the responsibility of delivering the materials to the students by taking
help of both traditional and digital methods of learning. They were taught how to prepare and
present themselves for a Job Interview. They were shown how to make their Resume, PPT
presentation, communication skills etc. The students were very enthusiastic to learn and
