During this programme, a total number of 45 female teachers, office staff and students have been voluntarily screened. Deorah College, Guwahati organized an Interactive session with students on "Care of Mental Health" programme for the students of S. B. Deorah College on 10th October 2023, on the occasion of Celebration of "World Mental Health Day". The programme was carried out by the Resource Person: Nimi Borgohain, Chief Clinical Psychologist, GNRC Hospital, Guwahati. During the programme, a total number of 67 students were participated and most of them interacted with the resource person and confronted their problems one by one and it was successfully completed with the problem-solving to the students. | 42 | Free Oral Health Check-up and Treatment on the occasion of "World Oral Health Day" | The health care committee of S. B. Deorah College, Guwahati in association with Regional Dental college, Guwahati organized a Free Oral Health Check-up and Treatment on the occasion of "World Oral Health Day" for Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff as well as for the students of S. B. Deorah College on 20th March, 2023. A total number of 17 health care Officials from Regional Dental College, Guwahati carried out the program. During the program, a total number of 107 students, 8 office staff and 32 teaching staff were participated. Firstly, they organize a "Talk on dental health", followed by Screening and Treatment then Caption writing competition. Bhattacharjee, President of Heart Care Society of Assam had delivered a talk on "Wellbeing of Heart" and Dr. Rohini Kumari, Diabetologist on "Blood Sugar".
