Profile

The SC/ST Cell of the College has been constituted for the general welfare and upliftment of the disadvantaged social group. The cell was inaugurated by the honourable principal of the college Dr. Dharmendra Nath. Established in compliance with the University Grant Commission (UGC) directives in order to facilitate and help the SC/ST students in their amalgamation in the college environment, the cell is committed to foster an inclusive environment where students from SC/ST communicate their experience of belongingness and acceptance . The SC/ST cell aims at redressing the grievances of these communities. It ensures the implementation of guidelines on reservation policy issued from time to time by the UGC and the State Government.

Objectives:
1. To educate, enlighten and empower the students of SC/ST to avail scholarships, adequate support and opportunities for their growth and development.
2. To ensure equal opportunity for education of SC/ST students.
3. To counsel and guide SC/ST students about various issues and help them to manage academic activities.
4. To create an inclusive environment where students from all ethnic communities feel accepted and included.
